The puppies are raised in our home. We have built a room for whelping and raising. It is the size of a garage. It has a bed in it where one of us sleeps with the Momma dog and pups for the first couple of weeks. The room is off of the den and has a door leading out to a fenced, grassy puppy yard. The pups are also allowed access to other parts of the house at different stages of development. We integrate the pups into our household fairly early in life. At three weeks they have their eyes open, they are up on their feet, and they can hear! So away they go!
